Lockstop Smart BLE Bike Lock Platform
The Lockstop Smart Lock Ecosystem project was created to address one of the most persistent challenges faced by cyclists across the United States: bicycle theft. IntelliCode partnered with Lockstop to transform an innovative concept into a fully connected smart-lock platform that enables riders to securely lock and unlock their bicycles directly from their smartphones.
To bring this vision to life, IntelliCode designed and developed the complete technology ecosystem, including custom BLE-enabled lock hardware, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and a centralized administration platform. The solution was engineered as a fully integrated IoT ecosystem where hardware, firmware, mobile applications, backend services, and operational systems work seamlessly together.
Through strategic architecture and scalable cloud infrastructure, the platform was built to support long-term growth, allowing Lockstop to expand its user base and device deployments without requiring significant architectural changes. Today, Lockstop continues to operate successfully across the United States, supported by IntelliCode through ongoing product development and platform enhancements.

Solution & Result
IntelliCode delivered a complete end-to-end smart lock ecosystem that successfully integrated custom BLE hardware, mobile applications, cloud services, and administrative tools into a single connected platform. The mobile application enables users to securely lock and unlock bicycles using their smartphones, eliminating the need for traditional keys while improving convenience and security.
A centralized administration portal provides complete visibility and control over users, devices, deployments, and operational activities. The cloud-based architecture ensures reliable communication between all system components while supporting future expansion and new device integrations.
The final solution established a scalable IoT platform capable of supporting continued business growth, allowing Lockstop to expand its operations across the United States. More than two years after launch, the platform remains active and continues to evolve through ongoing development and strategic enhancements delivered by IntelliCode.
